Transformable stone architecture
Ceylan Pierres has taken the understanding of sustainability and innovation in the construction sector even further and has launched a new initiative called “Convertible Stone Architecture”. This project aims to reduce construction waste and transform stone waste into reusable building elements.
The company collects stone waste from construction sites and quarries and transforms these materials into modular and reconfigurable stone building elements. This process aims to significantly reduce the environmental impact and promote the reuse of building materials.
Commenting on the project, the Managing Director of Ceylan Pierres said: “Revaluing stone waste and transforming it into modular building elements will both increase environmental sustainability and reduce construction costs. With this project, we aim to pioneer innovative and environmentally friendly solutions in the construction sector.” he said.
